ABOUT BENEATH THE ICE
At the start of the 2014-15 season, the team's website traffic ranked among the lowest in the NHL. The team knew that it had exciting stories to tell, but needed to increase engagement with their site. The Predators partnered with Gamma Blast Studios, and "Beneath the Ice" was born.
The 12-part web series follows the players' lives on and off the ice–giving viewers a unique look at the players' personal sides. It's proven to be a huge hit. The Predators website now consistently ranks in the NHL's Top 10 for traffic and views. No small feat for a non-traditional market club.
One of the most anticipated seasons in Nashville Predator history gets underway. A blockbuster trade with the Montreal Canadiens brings electric defenseman P.K. Subban to Nashville. Mike Fisher puts the captain's "C" on his sweater for the first time in his career.
The Predators hit the road for the annual West Coast Trip™ during the end of October / first part of November. Roman Josi gets reunited with childhood friend Yannick Weber and they take fellow Swiss countryman Kevin Fiala under their wing.
Matt Irwin solidifies his spot on the roster. The Central Division rival St. Louis Blues come to town.
